August Photo Contest: PORTAL (final conflict)

The theme shall be called "portal".

Portal. View port. Something you can look through. Something you can go through.

A window, a door, glasses, a magnifying glass, a negative space kind of portal.

A frame.

Ready set go!

Ignore the July contest!! I was supposed to start it but completely forgot. So you're officially on for August, and I'll do September. All good.

The St. Paul Pass Tunnel on the Route of the Hiawatha Trail takes you between Montana and Idaho. 1.66 miles of unlit riding with water dripping from the ceiling.

Ok here's my portal, the very stylish audio port used on this small Boston speaker that is fully enclosed when the back is on - allowing lower frequency sound to vent out the front. I love speakers.

This is part of the Methow Community Trail. In other places you have to take your skis off and run across the highway, but here in Mazama you ski through a culvert instead.

Whenever we return from points south through this arch we are constantly reminded of the incredibly beautiful area that we live in.
