My Hippie Shack

My Hippie Shack on my compound lol.

Seattle Forrest will appreciate this CD.

The Amazon exists in here.

It was a pain in the arse but I got the insulation and the ceiling secured with R 12 and by my surprised worked well in the ceiling. Stays cool in summer and warm in winter.

No spool table or giant wax candle... not a hippie shack. Also at least one poster required.

Think "different drummer" or "peter max," even beatles magical mystery tour album cover.

And the poster should be a blacklight poster. And weed on the table with a school lunch tray to separate the seeds....

You need a lava lamp in there, along with some macramé potted plant hangers.

If it were my shack, it'd be psychedelic all the way, 'cause that's where it's at.

Well, I'm thinking the Kennedys don't smoke their own meat and would never resort to doing with mere beer.

I like all the suggestions it’s have been a work in process. Luckily I had some extra breakers for the well so I was able to trim it out with electricity so I have only so many amps to work with. But enough for plugs and lights and a small ac. Building materials today are not cheap. I have 3 hand surgeries starting Thursday so I need a place to hang out But yes it needs to be a little more hippied out. Maybe I’ll go to Austin, Texas and take a look around.

Man, everyones reply reminded me of my older brothers back shack. Blacklight, neon posters, lamps. I'll add shag carpet, inscents, Cheech and Chong album and prophylactic coins.

Isn't a couch unhippie? It's the dawn of a new era of love and happiness, you've got to rethink practical things too. My friends that went hippie had cushions on the ground so you could feel the cold at that height and getting up comfortably was reserved for the under 16's.

That's because they smoke it as fast as they grow it down there.

Silly popularity contests.

Yeah, Love Shack got worn out with radio play and MTV in the '80s.

I had a single 45 of Psychedelic Shack in the '70s as a kid. It sounded like crap on my little "suitcase" record player, but most importantly, that song has no goats.
