gravel bike in hospital

A shredded cable inside the shifter. Donít have any cables so to the bike shop it went. 50 miles away in Kerrville, Texas. Going to ride the one speed in the meantime. One gear and NO MERCY on hills. Fun bike to cruise around. LBS very busy the owner said business is booming with the pandemic around.

Got power washed havenít ruined a bike in 25 years with a power washer.

On your single speed just ride downhill. You mention power wash. When I am out biking I see at least 2 people power wash something around their house. Usually sidewalks and driveways. I guess the stay at home boredom set in and they have to do something so why not power wash. I don't own a power washer so I go biking.

Iíve taken my touring bike to a pay washer place twice. Once I rode through 4Ē of Montana mud. Stuff got caked all over from the splatter. I literally sunk down to spoke level. Imagine whipping potatoes in a blender and forgetting to put the lid on. What a Godsend that power washer was.

What is Cascade concrete? I’m guessing jagged terrain only suited for a mountain goat.

The snow here (especially on the ocean side) is so heavy and dense, we call it Cascade concrete.

Been in the Olympic Mountains in summer lol. Cruising through Washington on the leeward side it gets dry fast. Awesome for a geology/geography person like myself.
