That's why I avoid commercial tv and radio as much as possible. I bet I watch less than 10 hrs of commercial driven tv a year. I've never had cable/satellite. Weeks can go by without turning on the tv period, even for paid streaming. My wife watches a little more streaming, but usually from a personal device.

I don't have a jet ski, but I have 3 pairs of human powered skis. One is the new mohair skin setup, not like climbing skins that you take off at the transition and stuff in your pack, the ones that are attached to the base of the ski in the kick zone. Those skis are incredible.

I had a sled when I was a kid in Pennsylvania and Ohio but it was of no use here .... First time getting stung by a mosquito in January I knew something was different.

Over 40 you're using more of your life energy fighting the 300 pound gorilla called time. Leaves less energy for other stuff. Eventually he wins, no matter who you are. Suck it up.
Jet skis, meh.

I haven't seen an honest to gawd stand up JetSki in person since the '80s. I got to ride a friend's modded "race" JetSki back then a few times. On rough water, it was about as brutal as 500cc 2-stroke motocrosser of the era, but much less versatile.
At least with a dirt bike I could rob banks.

I watch old movies on my antenna TV at least once per week.
Beet juice powder, copper woven man-girdles (ask Brett Favre and Jerry Rice), testosterone replacement pills, balance relearning contraptions, vibrating booty shakers, HurryCanes, portable oxygen machines, lawyers for any ailment that hasn't killed you yet, etc. etc.
Good times. Good times.

When I did it, they gave me the employee discount because my engineering firm had done some work for them.
