Of course I see that the democracy sausage concept can be abused... SIGH. I believe some states require bars to close on election day here, for similar reasons.

Quite interesting... I knew of the compulsory voting... did not know of the Saturday vote day... and I love the idea of raising funds with food like that... it all seems so keen, and sane compared to clusterf that happens in the States United.

Saturday voting. It's an offence for your boss to prevent you from voting. Well managed polling stations where you can even vote if you are outside your own district. No Gerrymandering. And Democracy Sausages.

Sunday morning grocery shopping was surprisingly pleasant. No I ain’t gonna wear a mask a holes anywhere. Hopefully here all the crap has settled down and we can move forward. Time will tell I guess but if today is a precursor it will be ok here. I realize I live in an easy going the hell with it I will do it mañana cultural area where cerveza fría rules.

Beer is good medicine right now. Not promoting alcoholism but a few cold one are ok. My sister works at a large 6A HS and cases are spiking fast. Everyday another teacher and some students test positive but Texas acts like it is nothing. So the atmosphere is tense with what is going to happen. I guess we will all see.
