Cleveland Browns win a playoff game
The QB from Lake Travis,Texas leads Cleveland to a playoff victory. 28-0 in the first quarter I was
. Cleveland missing their head coach and several key players. Pittsburgh wasn’t ready to play they looked unmotivated. I thought Cleveland was going to get demolished.

I "watched" that game (on the radio - no TV) torn. PIttsburg Steelers, the blue collar team from one of the old industrial cities. (Steel.) Gritty as can be and been that way forever. Ben Rothlisberger (sp) lived that image. I had college friends from Pittsburg. Rolling Rock beer. Cleveland, another of those blue collar cities. Also on the "steel line". (Where finished steel was loaded onto ships when the Great Lakes were an industrial highway.) The Browns - to see them finally succeed feels good. To see them rise up with all the setbacks yesterday - they deserved that win. (I heard that none of the usual coaches' roles were handled by the usual. In NFL post season!)
That first quarter was tough to watch. First snap WTF. Two interceptions for TDs. Not how I want to see big Ben go out. But to his credit, he never quit. 61 passes for a 77% completion! Felt like the end of an era.

Yup, first play of the game Browns TD from a bad snap with only 4 seconds off the clock. Lived in Pittsburgh as a young kid then a few years in a Cleveland. I remember walking to school in lake effect snow in Cleveland and sledding in Pittsburgh. I remember the heavy industry from back then and the blue collar nuts and bolts lunch pail attitude about getting things done.

Baker F'n Mayfield.
Twice a walk on (T. Tech, OU). Heisman winner (OU). Three time conference champ (OU). And now helps lead the Browns back to their first playoff appearance since '02, their first win at Pitt since '03, and their first playoff win since '94.

At Lake Travis HS (Austin,Texas) two starters ahead of him had to get hurt before Mayfield saw the field. Always written off and has always proved the doubters wrong. His commercials are funny that have him living with his wife in the stadium.

As a Bengals fan, the second best thing that can happen in an NFL game is that the Steelers lose.

Kansas City will probably be too much for Cleveland but you never know. Patrick Mahomes from Whitehouse, Texas will be too much. The KC QB just keeps getting better if that is possible.

Lions QB another Texas QB from Highland Park, Texas. Like Stafford really needed the money
. How many years will it take to have a Lions vs Browns super bowl?
If football is played for a thousand more years or more it might happen.

LOL . . . . . . . . NSFW
Those teams up north can play in the snow. I was riding high with Earl Campbell and the Houston Oilers in 1978 until they played the final AFC playoff game in Pittsburg.. But I didn't cry
.
