May Photo Contest-Office Space

Based on one of my more favorite films, but put you own spin on it.

You must be the photographer.
Only one entry.
Try to make it a recent one.

I did not set up this shot.

That’s my office on the right and in my “space”, a port district of nearly 700 square miles of land and water.

I was hoping that this month’s challenge would give me the incentive to clean off my desk. I wanted to do a before and after collage but now, the after is even worse than the before. Anyway, since it’s “last call,” here it is and welcome to my world.

Einstein pointed out that "If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?"

And yes, I still use a Blackberry

I worked in a Philadelphia hot dog cart one summer during my high school years.

My home office desk is too cluttered as well, B&W wouldn't help I guess I could consider whatever rental property I'm working on to be my office

Speaking of last call, today is the last call as for the May contest, tonight's PowerBall number will determine the winner. I count nine entries so far - good luck everyone

@majmt if you want to set up a secret poll to determine winners that's an option, but it would have to be done on the initial contest post wouldn't it?

I’m not sure. I think the poll would need to be a new thread but it could be linked to the contest thread. On the down side, people would only be allowed one vote and the number of options I think is limited to 10 - probably OK for most months but there have been more entries before. Maybe the mods could help if it’s possible to change the polling function.

Congrats @clemsongirl, the May winner in the 1st "low stress" luck of the draw selection - since we don't have 26 photos, we use the 1st digit of the power ball number ( 2 ) so the 2nd photo takes it. I can already see it will help to be early with your photos if we continue this method of selecting a winner.

The July contest subject is yours to choose

I just recently moved to an office. Seeing this really makes me long for the times I used to work from home. There are a lot of downsides: there are way too many distractions, home feels like a place of comfort and rest, you get distracted by the people you live with. But there is a certain special feeling that is impossible to replicate. Even though I wouldn't trade my current office for anything (spent way too much time looking for a decent deal here https://osdoro.com.sg/office-space-for-rent/ to let it go), I think I will work from home this week. Thanks to all of you for the positive memories!

Hey, I know this is all over, but I just happened to come across some old office pictures... My cube was easy to find... (oh, I so hated "cubeland.")

Just look for the red thing....

Of course this IS a window office... shortly after I was moved to the basement, with my red stapler.
