Occasionally a particular song is what we need to bring a smile, turn our mood around or just makes us want to dance. :thumb: Music is a great escape and listening to a favorite song can bring a smile to our face when needed and change an entire state of mind from negative to positive. This thread is for songs manifesting only feel good vibes.

Gotta plug Katrina and the Waves. Nope, not "Walking on Sunshine." Too obvious. "Do You Want Crying" is so upbeat it kinda makes breakup songs sound fun.

Such an underrated band. They needed a few more hits, but mostly they came along in the wrong era, between New Wave and disco revival. But I'd rank 'em up there alongside Sweet, Badfinger, the Runaways or anything with Joan Jett, even some of the Pretenders' poppier songs. They were the '80s best '70s pop band.

For some reason, I really enjoy this song.

Going to see Eddie Van Halen’s son open for GnR next week in Hershey Pa. when I first heard this back in 1978 I was :eek: it is still awesome today. Makes me feel good.
