Dontcha hate it when....

You open a new tab and just as the page flips to the link you clicked you see a story headline that catches your eye....the moment you hit back it's gone and never to be seen again?

Yup. Or the page jumps a split second before you tap a link and you tap the link you don’t wanna.

Or there are two links near each other... one is for the page you want to go to, the other, somewhat disguised like the page you are on, is for a link to some stupid thing you would never think to buy, and that is the link you clicked... because "near." (I find this happens on my phone more than computer... my finger is not as accurate a pointing device as the little arrow)

Lol, I rarely use my phone to surf in part because of this exact issue. I got myself a stylus that I use for my phone to avoid fat fingering.

That is by design.

Totally!

I saw a wonderful image on my Instagram today, but do you think I can find it again?

So if you open another New Tab, you don't get the same story links again?

My similar problem I've been noticing a lot lately, is I somehow have an uncanny ability to time my clicks so that what I'm clicking on changes during the time interval between my button-down, and button-up. Like a windoze explorer is busy populating what folders/files it sees on a remote network store, or the BF pageload is mostly there except for the topmatter fills in just as I try to click on a thread, which scoots the whole page down like 8 lines

There is a weather app on my phone I use before riding. I typically open it and then press thumb on open blank area near bottom to scroll it up to see hourly report and what sometimes happens is the open area is loaded with an ad that was not yet there when I started to move my thumb so I end up opening the ad instead of scrolling up the weather report.

I suspect that too is intentional as the weather app maker wants me to pay them for ad free version and if not they get more revenue every time I hit the ad.

Yup, or you're on a news website and you see a headline you want to click on... then the page reloads itself randomly and after it does, that story is no longer there.

(Actually, just tabs/pages deciding they need to randomly reload themselves, period. Internet on my tablet is slow. Don't make me wait for it to load AGAIN just because I clicked to another tab momentarily. It's the exact same webpage. Nothing changed. LEAVE IT.)

That happens all the time. And everything else is the same. The one story you wanted to see is the only thing that's gone. It's as if there's an algorithm that knows what you're thinking.

I hate going to the grocery store getting a cart that needs alignment or wobbles. The wheels clogged up making it hard to roll. Or when some pig leaves trash in the cart.

There used to be a whole MAD magazine section devoted to "Don't you hate it when..."

When someone posts an incomplete click-bait title to a thread such as "Don't You Hate It When . . . . "

Click bait threads are fun and I hate threads that stay topic. The threads that go haywire and go several directions are great.

I'd agree with you, but you have to consider the fact that we never really landed on the moon!

Yes we did. Some pig left trash up there in the cart.
