I'm a volunteer trail steward, so you're asking the wrong person. Anyway, there's nothing stopping cities from hiring people to ride the bike lanes. Well, except for political will.

Looks like it could be useful.
The bike needs a kickstand, so the operator can, on occasion and as needed, stop and carefully remove the Construction Ahead sign from the bike lane and place it in the middle of the ******g road where it belongs.
But yeah, I like it.
