No COVID crowd restrictions in Texas? Or maybe the Texas government recommends 'home therapy' such as drown the virus by drinking copious quantities of cheap beer?

I think Hondo Gravel has been doing that since well before the endemic started.
I would love to see Tool, I wanted to go to the concert but my friend who I invited was saying yeah probably not smart to be in a big arena and I really don't want to spend that kind of money to get the good seats and really don't want the cheap seats. Maybe it if were outdoors I might re-consider but indoors no thanks.

True but $500 for nice seats is a lot for one concert even if it is a band I really enjoy. Maybe with backstage passes and I get to hang out with Danny Carey all night just watching him drum and be Danny Carey I would do it.

Feb 1 only one day to prepare for TOOL on Feb 2. Today will be the only warm day for awhile I might be able to ride today in bike shorts. I have been multi layering the past several rides. PITA takes forever to squirm into that stuff making sure everything fits correctly. Then post ride peeling off layers of tape to be free. I hate ballet clothes to begin with but it is necessary for some what serious training on bikes.

I saw them in Bangor, Maine a few years back. Good concert. Used to love love love them but ... times have passed and there is more other music around too. ... however ... I would still go again if I could :-)

Back from the TOOL concert.
awesome! Bought a hoody for the super natural experience.

Got a T shirt under there lol .. great concert and a great band. Great way to waste money buying TOOL tickets and merchandise and overpriced beer. Life is good sometimes. .

For something completely different: Kraftwerk, 27 June, Moody Theater, Austin. 3D concert with quad sound system.
They do live remixes nonstop in every concert, so no two performances are alike.
They and the Beatles are considered the two most influential bands ever.
To put you in the mood for the drive:

When I saw Maynard over 20 years ago, he had these boys open (from little ol' Montesano, WA).
[nice God of Thunder riff at the very beg.]
