Grumpy Old Man in training
I woke up this morning as a grumpy old man. My cat hissed at me and I threw the dogs outside. I made a gallon of coffee and put Led Zeppelin 4 on the record player. I glanced at the major new network websites and that was the final straw. I知 dropping out of society even further than I have. My legs are fried from back to back rides. I like to ride 2 days then 1 day off seems to work well for me. Nice Canadian air is here got some much needed rain so I知 heading into the metropolis to get some beer and something for the smoker. Bribe some friends to come over a hang out not hard when beer is involved. Because today I am grumpy and don稚 give a F about anything. I知 sure y誕ll have days like this. Guilt free day of just not caring about anything just going to kick back and enjoy a cold one and smoke probably a pork loin. Once in awhile you need a day like this and today is the day.

I feel that about the rain. I am not a sprinkler guy, but for sure don't want my yard turning to dust. Predicted rain over the last three weeks has refused to materialize and my plants and lawn are suffering hard.
IDK if you are into it but something I like to do with a pork loin:
Take and rub it down with a heavy mix of salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, and ground coffee of your choice. Wrap tightly in foil such that juices won't leak out (as easily). Put your grill on and set the loin off to a side for indirect heat, turning once or twice by hand over a 4-6 hr period based on the size of the loin. Allow it to stand for about 30 mins before opening over a dish. You shouldn't need a knife or anything to further enjoy.
I raise my cup of Knob Creek to you. Cheers!

I've been a grumpy old man for most of my life... and I'm neither old nor a man. (I'm not a person with much patience, so it doesn't take much for me to be tired of other people or BS...)
Today, though... not so bad. Ask me at the end of a workday, though...

Well Kat12 if we have learned nothing of the current state of the world, it's that regardless of biology, you can identify as a "grumpy old man" if you want to. Who are we to judge?

Sitting in the sun room right now, watchin a much needed rain here in mid Nebraska and having a cup of coffee that sticks to the spoon... . Temperature is in the low 50s. Grumpy is just me sometimes.. To cold out now, last week it was too hot, two weeks ago it was so nice out..... It was so nice out I didn't feel like doing anything. Let's all celebrate grumpy.......

We got a good portion of what was projected today over the night and early this morning off that storm out of the Gulf. I had honestly hoped it would rain much more. The forecast is showing more of the heat induced afternoon thunderstorms for the next four days or so....exactly what hasn't happened for the previous month before it here. The outlook appears to be muggy, hot, and humid. Just lovely for outside activity after 11AM and up to about 7:30 in the evening, lol.

I am so sick of these kids claiming the perks of old age. Buncha slackers if you ask me.
When you get up one morning and the first thing you do is drain your catheter, put on your leg brace, your knee braces, put in your false teeth, put on your glasses, your toupee and sit down to a breakfast of bran flakes then you can be grumpy, goddammit.

The worst part, the durn kids across the street I've been yelling at to get off my lawn are now mowing my lawn.

Yup stabbing people is back in style. Local noon news and about 5 people got stabbed in San Antonio last night a Monday night. Only 2 shootings. Good start to my grumpy old man training. Not that old as of today but I will become grumpier every year that I’m alive. The noon news is a good source.

I am an extremely young grumpy old man right now! I just got stabbed via e mail. Aerosmith cancels Vegas residency. Lead singer relapses again! Been jamming Aerosmith all day now this. My life is ruined
. I got ticket refunded I can cancel the room. Probably screwed on airfare. Now I got to send off some e mails with bad news. But there is cold beer always around here since this a drinking county.
