Been There, Done That...
Every now and then I would see an Ole Geezer making his way up our street on his Ole Motobecane. The guy older than me is much stronger and with that, "I used to be a marathon runner, build...". I really never got a chance to talk to him but would wave as he rode by with a smile. Well a few months ago he flashed by at about 30/48 Mph/Kph on what looked like a folding e-bike. His head was down and he was tucked level with the bars and moving out! I saw him a few more times just really going fast on the Up and Downs. Well this AM there he was chugging along on his Motobecane. I waved and he stopped. I asked of the e-bike and he said his son came down from up north and took it back with him for commuting to work. I told him he looked much better on top of his Motobecane. He replied, "It feels better too, much more familiar". He then added as he rode off, "That e-bike was OK but really, now I can say, been there, done that." It was good to see his smile back...

If they get people out of the cars, it's okay with me
except those awful electric scooters.
You know, the ones abandoned by the last user wherever.
