How much are you Wheelie ?

Hi !
I've create a small Android app for my son to measure his wheelie and stoppie !
You can see it in action in this video (sorry for quality ) : youtube video number : ApfTT_f03O8, i can't post external url for now...
The record for him is 43° in wheelie and 26° in stoppie, i will add more tricks to my application.

I've printed phone holder for his bike (search on thingivers : Handlebar/Tube phone mount (no screw!))
Try it and give me a feedback

This sounds like data I've been needing. When you make an iPhone version, let me know and I will ditch my Garmin.

I've never heard the term "stoppie" before but I'm guessing that's where you lock up the front brake and see how far forward you can tilt the bike without falling over or doing an endo?

Nice idea
Consider hosting it on f-droid so it goes open and better known !

Perhaps it's not the right term in english, you can search "stoppie" in wikipedia (can't post links now )

Ha! From that (very brief) Wikipedia article: "The stoppie is a motorcycle and bicycle trick in which the back wheel is lifted by abruptly applying the front brake, then, by carefully reducing the brake pressure, the bike is ridden for a short distance on the front wheel. It is also called an endo, or less commonly, a front wheelie."

"Front wheelie" is the term I hear most commonly!

Normally I see endo for bicycles and stoppie for motorcycles.

Some bike trick names come from surfing and skateboarding via freestyle BMX. Anything from that side is likely to have the word “nose” for front wheel tricks. Some come from motocross and dirt bikes via BMX racing.

Bunny hop seems to be particular to cycling and is not the same as an Ollie though they ultimately accomplish the same thing. It would be pretty hard to do it on a motorcycle because they are heavy. Googling, I see it might come from the dance or from figure skating. I see it’s a term of art in FPS video games now too.
