You have to pay ~ $1.5 too in Hungary, Europe. It wouldn't be a problem but (t)here is one thing: average hourly earnings are about $3-5!

70 for a US gallon was the cheapest I remember. That was around Christmas in 1998 in Rock Hill, SC just off I-77. Consider you pay 34 a gallon in tax.
