What Luck!

I just saw a Trek 5200 OCLV Carbon 52cm Road Bike (USPS Model) with full Ultegra and Rolf Vector wheels go for $790 on ebay. That however, is not the luck I mention...

In the ebay descrption, this bike was being sold by a guy who bought a house and when he moved in, he discovered this bike had been left behind! Aside from trying to find the owner (don't know if he did or not) he had a nice bike! I wonder if the previous owner eventually missed the darn thing!

Weird

Why can't I be that lucky? When I moved into my apt., I found one egg, a beer and 3 frozen chicken patties in the freezer. None were worth selling on ebay, especially since ebay was a few years away from being invented.

BTW Gus, I haven't seen you post on the "How was your commute today?" thread in Commuting that you started long, long ago. Not commuting anymore?

No, not commuting any longer, but I still lurk in there. I commuted for several years, but that was before I retired. I tried to commute the 33 miles to the University since then, but it got to be way too much. I've one last semester left, then I may go back to work (something to do), maybe the opportunity to commute again will present itself again...I hope.

Starved to death after he ate one egg, 3 frozen chicken patties and ran out of beer!

Couldn't resist.

There were dark brownish-red spatters all over my walls. Took hours to clean it all off.
