Should I see The Bourne Ultimatum or Rush Hour 3 today? I will ultimately see both movies eventually, but need something to do today.

Bourne gets my vote too.

Just got back from my ride, not so happy with how it went... 1.5 hours to do 40km But it was a nice day, I'm glad I managed to haul myself out onto the road.

You've been riding a LOT recently. Maybe it's time to back off and rest those legs before next weekend's riding. Unless you want to join us for a BikeForums century and BBQ tomorrow in San Diego first.

I am drooling about the newest local motor build...apparently they're gonna start with a 350 Chevy and build it up to a 383, twin turbo drag monster. Drop it in a mullet-mobile (Camaro/TA/Firebird) and eat everything all day. Damn. There goes our chances at the Street Car Title next season...

I took the last 3 days off actually Didn't touch a bike tuesday-thursday, but I will be taking it easy this week prior to my MS ride.

Too bad San Diego is so far away, it would be neat to go on a ride with some of the people from around here

Yes, the group rides are fun. But this Sunday's will be special. Indolent58 is treating us to a BBQ afterward. We really enjoyed his BBQ last time after a 40 mile social ride. One can only imagine how much better it will be with even bigger appetites after a century. You can expect me out in front pulling the group all day--as opposed to sitting in the draft--to build up a bigger appetite.

Headed out to my deck for a while. Then I'll put my new X/5's on my beater and spin a bit on my trainer.

Hey, polara, wanna do some early mornin' hill repeats on Mallard Creek? Maybe three or four out-and-backs, and a couple of loops through campus?

Gorgeous day!
Just got back from one of the best ever rides weather-wise. Such a surprise. Thursady was 102 in DC; Friday was almost as hot and really humid. Last night was so sticky when I went to bed. This morning I woke up in so Maryland with drak clouds that looked like rain is on the way and 60 degrees. That's not the forecast. Around noon, the clouds went away and there's nothing but sun, bright blue skies, and 80 degrees. Can't ask for more than that!

Afternoon Foo.

Kinda tired after my ride today. It was really hilly and those darn things put a hurtin' on me. The weather was great tho...about 80-85F with a little breeze. Sure does beat the temps of the last few days.

I took a break from work at the bowling alley. Quick points:
1) I'm turning in my resignation at the end of my shift.
2) My bird died.
3) I just paid for tuition on my own. Holy crap. I didn't think school was going to be this expensive.

Gotta get back to work. Have a great Saturday everyone. Ciao. :waves:

Keep doing those hills WP. As long as your knee is OK they will really help. Then in Sept. I'll show you some of my hills.

A gem of a day here too!
Used to bike D.C. frequently myself. Sometimes would take the bike trail from Mt. Vernon all the way
through Old Town, Alexandria, then into D.C. to Georgetown. Great riding!

BikeWNC - you have no hills to show me. You only have mountains. Seriously, tho, every hill I climbed, I thought about that ride and how I need to continue doing them....
