G'mornin', Foo! I've had breakfast, still sipping my coffee, and getting ready to go get dressed for my crack-of-dawn ride with polara.

Posting as I lie in bed wondering where to ride today. Can't believe VV got up so early to ride this morning. To ride some hills no less! That's my girl! She'll be ready for the SEBF ride in no time.

Morning Foo

Lazy Sunday morning. Watching the cat play with the toy mice...throwing them all around and jumping/attacking them...my entertainment for the morning

Should've gone for a ride this morning...it was 65F a little earlier. Now, I'll have to wait till later...guess I need to go ride my few little hills today. Only way to get better at them is to ride em, right BWNC?

VV - she's secretely planning a trip to the mountains this fall, she's out hill training...you go girl!

Got back about 15 minutes ago from a bike ride. Sitting down and relaxing before breakfast with a cup of coffee.

'morning. Was very lazy and slept in until 9 this morning. It was pretty nice. Think I might be lazy and not do a ride today, my back's bugging me a bit still. Or I may go hit the trails, my mtb still loves me

Just realized I'll have to go dress shoping soon, my friend is getting married in September and I have nothing wedding appropriate to wear

We've always had dogs with similar temprements to bouviers and know exactly what we're getting into with one Thanks for the link though, if you're willing to devote the time and effort to them they're fantastic dogs.

I've had a migraine for 4 days now and it is starting to bug me.

Can't ride much because it makes it throb more. Did get to the mall yesterday, and chilled out so it isn't the heat, nor caffeine.

I think the last time I had this it was five days. I think I prefer the intense short (2 or 3 hour) migraines where I end up throwing up to this low level torture.

Have fun!

Caspar, that's no good And we've finally had a couple of good riding days here too! Hopefully your migraine goes away and you can enjoy the awesome weather we're having.

Glad your new shoes are working out well BIMT. I'm hoping to pick up a new pair for mt mtb at the bike sale in a couple of months. Your new trails sound pretty good.

I need to get new pedals.

The ones that were on my beater were also the ones that I use on my trainer.

That is why I aim to keep my STP looking like your average level Giant dirtjumping bike, while really being an XT/Deore-equipped, 1x9 geared custom

Hi everyone, I had a great Sunday, it's 11.45pm here in Japan, and I should go to bed soon. I've got a great day ahead of me (Monday)
8am a small group of us will be riding to Hiyoshi Dam (about 80km including a "few" mountains) . We should get home about 6pm tomorrow night after a lovely lunch out there and relaxing time by the water.
I hope to break my max speed but it will be about 36 deg cel., so that could put a spanner in the works.

Just got back from 26 mile ride from our house here in Lake Placid to the Whiteface Mtn area and back. Great day for a ride and it was beautiful.

Wolfpack, will you ride the BRP this week? Make sure to post how that goes.

Good (early) afternoon Foo. Just got back from 20mi of hill repeats. Man, I gotta do more of this- they're actually sort of fun, in a masochistic way. I know it's for my own good.... . I hope everyone is having a great day- condolences to Ms. Gio and a get-well to Caspar.

giantcfr1, very nice koi! What are you doing in Kyoto? I won't be back in Japan until next spring/summer, most likely. I pick up my Japanese passport tomorrow.

Nice koi giantcfr1.

Well, I'm contemplating on going to the beach and getting myself a new phone. I feel like I have to treat myself to the beach after riding 30 miles or so. Also, after losing my phone after getting it replaced must be a sign that I must get a better phone. My birthday is coming up so I might get myself an iPhone as a birthday gift to me. Maybe...
