Thru hike in about 3 years.
Leaning towards a southbounder. If I actually do this, I would love to meet up with some BF'ers in various towns along the way.

Mornin' Foo. Happy weekend! I hope all of your plans come to fruition.

I am...being lazy for a couple more hours. Then I might go for a run or bike ride later this afternoon, seeing as it's actually a nice day.

Naturally my cat and I wish you well.

The Empress of the Universe and I are lounging today. I actually slept for 10 hours! I guess yesterday was tiring somehow. It's dumping buckets, so I'm not missing much outside.

Doing bike laundry, finishing the red cabbage, practicing the piano and waiting to go for a ride before the Octoberfest party this evening.

Hmm. The question is, will anyone notice if people walking the streets in NYC turn into zombies? I mean, aside from the rise in people eating each other...

In any case, I hope you overcome your undeadedness soon.

Just got back with from a 30-ish mile ride with a friend I've known since 1st grade (and he still puts up with me - pretty remarkable) and buying a stem for the Ron Cooper project - all it needs now is a chain and I'll have everything I need to put it all together.

After a quick shower, off with others in my Rotary Club to bring about 60 pumpkins to a transitional housing complex and to help the kids there do the Halloween "gut the pumpkin" thing - should be a hoot.

After that, one or more of nap, movie, snooze, dinner, catch 40 winks, work on the Cooper, kick back, or whatever else sounds good.

BTW, yesterday morning I saw a absolutely gorgeous rainbow - it went from horizon to horizon in pretty intense colors, and there was a fair chunk of the second one, too. Just breathtaking.

Ciao, y'all.

Just checkin' in, Foo. Not so sure I have so much in common here with the threads of the general youth of Foo anymore. But it's been a really fun distraction during this past year when "real" life just hurt too much to deal with. Foo sure saved me. I will never deny that, and I will always be grateful. But I think, upon periodic perusals of Foo, that maybe I need to just move on now.

I loves me you all. I will hold you all in my heart for my life. In particular, my Foo-sons, WTP, Max, and Jon (who long ago rejected me as his Foo-grandma ). I will continue to hold many of you in high esteem, and you know who you are, both those who have my personal email, and those of you with whom I had many PM exchanges over this past year.

I just need to go for now. My personal life needs more attention that I can afford with Foo continuously asking for my time. Again, I loves me my Foo, and my very real human folks behind the usernames....

<blowin' kisses, offerin' Vega hugs, wavin' 'Good-bye,' slinkin' away in great sadness, but, yet, with some sense of release>

I loves me you all.... Never doubt it....
