Nope, just an excuse to get more bike stuff.

Been checking out a bunch of swag tonight like ceramic bearings and Zipp wheels.

One can dream, right?

Oh yeah, forgot about the mtb.

I don't know. Most likely I will get nothing as I don't really have money falling out of my pockets. But I plan to do about 6 TT next year as part of my road training, actually as field tests. Would be nice to have the bike too. Looking at the Specialized Transition Expert with some wheel and component upgrades.

Actually I spent a good chunk of the afternoon at the LBS looking at Surly Cross Checks. Something about that bike seems perfect for winter riding and it would be so nice on our rough PA roads. Maybe I can I can rattle can a brand new bike to make it look like HeII and the wife will thinks its one of my beater bikes or trash day treasures. Hmmm <lookin around for sumthin to sell on ebay> I want a Cross Check.

Bout to go to bed here. Night all in Foo Land. Spent a lot of the evening working on adding and editing content on velobase.com, who would have thought there were a lot of cycling components made between the 40's and 80's? 740 something components and just scratching the surface of what's out there. Want to see one of Shimano's great experiments in the late 80's? Check out the Sante' group that's now up on VeloBase: http://velobase.com/SearchVisual_Lis...al_Group=Sante I think the group only lasted a year, maybe two max. Wonder why?

g'morning. One of my team mates is asking me for advice about buying a bike (he found an 06 model of my bike on Craigslist), this just... amuses me. I know the least or second least about bikes out of all the people on the team, I'm the worst person he could ask

And after looking at pictures from parties this weekend I am forced to conclude that I am terribly unphotogenic

Now to get ready for another exciting day of school... I hope they have their Holiday coffee again at the coffee place at school, it is tasty

How do you think I feel looking at all these cool parts I don't have yet! Then I look at the prices some of the rare stuff goes for and I realize why. I do need a SunTour bike. And something with Huret Jubuilee, then maybe a British path racer, or a 3-speed. And 8speed Dura-Ace is so cool looking. But so is first-gen Dura-Ace...

Anyone going to get a free taco from Taco Bell today? I might have to skip my class from 2-5 so that I can get one.
