Hey, polara, when you wanna have a catfish-fry? I'm sure we can find some greens and okra, and I have several recipes for hushpuppies....

I'm down whenever. I don't have any bacon grease to fry in though. I guess I could use peanut oil.

Heh. Thanks, dauph, for that fine fried suggestion.

And, WP, I think that polara and I could arrange a good ol' suth'un fried-food weekend sometime. And you'll most welcome to stay in my guest room. I envision chicken, okra, dill pickles, and all sorts of other good deep-fried thangs.

Hey, peeps, I need to get me to bed now. This is one of those days that can teeter so easily between a good and bad day. Right now, it seems to be a good day, in spite of all that I had to put up with, and in spite of some rather sad Foo posts today with which I can so readily empathize....

Anyway, I'm headin' to bed. It's just time to go watch a bit of mindless TV, then turn out the light in an hour or so....

'Night, fellow Foo'ers! <wavin', slinkin' to bed in pink jammies>

Hey Janet (Yes Brad?), I've got something to say.
I really loved the skilful way
You beat the other girls to the bride's bouquet!

The river was deep but I swam it, Janet
The future is ours so let's plan it, Janet
So please don't tell me to can it, Janet
I've one thing to say and that's

Dammit, Janet, I love you...

The road was long but i ran it, Janet
There's a fire in my heart and you fan it, Janet
If there's one fool for you then I am it, Janet
Now I've one thing to say and that's

Dammit, Janet, I love you...

Here's a ring to prove that I'm no joker
There's three ways that love can grow
That's good, bad or mediocre
Oh J-A-N-E-T I love you so

Oh it's nicer than Betty Munroe had, oh Brad
Now we're engaged and I'm so glad, oh Brad
That you've met Mum and you know Dad, oh Brad
I've one thing to say and that's

Brad I'm mad for you too...

Oh Brad, Oh... dammit!
I'm mad, Oh Janet!
For you, I love you too
There's one thing left to do, and that's

Go see the man who began it
When we met in his science exam-it
Made me give you the eye and then panic
There's one thing to say and that's

Dammit, Janet, I love you...

Well, I tired of handing out candy to non-dressed-up teenagers (some talking on the phone!) some time ago, Foo is showing few signs of life, and I've been up since 5am, so I think I'll just give up and go to sleep. Lame.

'night Foo.
