What was your SAT score excuse?

Hmm, seems that everyone has an excuse,

" I would have done better, but... "

- My dog ran away
- I lost my virginity the night before
- I had the hugest zit!
- other...

I would have done better, but well, when they start killing people for being too dumb to live, i'm going to be just below the cut-off

I would have done better, but I just didn't care about it; I was already getting in to the college I wanted based on GPA alone; it was academic....

Excuse? I dont need no stinking excuse. I was 99+ percentile in Math and 99 percentile in Verbal. It paid off two ways. It kept me out of combat in Nam. Military doesn't put you in a combat unit if you can spot the officers 20 I.Q. points and come out ahead. And it got me into a school where I found a wife who was a perfect opposite: 99 math and 99+ Verbal.

what the heck.
I didnt take your gay ass stupid ****ing tests.
Seriously. When I went in for the ASVAB at the Navy recruiting station I hadn't touched any curricular studies of any sort for 2-3 years. I haven't taken the ACT or SAT and would like to keep it that way if possible.

Didn't need any excuse. Didn't have one for the SAT anyway. For what was called the acheivement tests I had two. I was sick and also had a swim meet the same day. (Same place too, Beverly Hills High). But with an 800 79x and 72x (meaning I don't remember exact scors from 30 years ago) I hardly need an excuse.

I did win I left with a score that put me above 97%+ of the people who had taken that. They kept pushing me to go nuke.

I would've done better if I'd seen an actual point to this stupid-a$$ test which would've made me put more effort into it

It was the College Board's fault for letting my test paper get too humid so the scanner didn't read it properly. But it's OK. After a few months they said they were sorry.

ACT Score Excuse:
I couldn't use a calculator because the one I brought was banned (TI-89). True story, my classmates still remember me swearing at the proctor.
Amazingly, I still did better on math than on english. I guess its because I only know two languages: English and Bad English and I suck at both.
