Any good games for Linux?

Im sick of solitaire and all the other simple little games that come with Fedora! Does anybody know of a single player reasonably fun game? I dont care what kind, just want something a little different.

XEvil and nethack are the only games I play on Linux. XEvil has a satisfying kill kill kill quality to it. I like to play the flyboy and go around launching rockets and dropping grenades on everyone.

You can get a port of LucasArts ScummVM engine and play Beneath a Steel Sky. Most linux distros have the packages readily available for ScummVM but you can get it here too:

http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php

- i have a fairly complete collection of every Loki game, along with all the Quakes (last version in metal box still in shrink wrap)...

- these were commercial games, but there are many, many good games and simulators... you don't mention what type of game you're looking for, but some places to start are:

here

and

here

and

here.

as the SuSE folks used to say: "Have a lot of fun."

:-)

"Find that driver" is considered great fun by some Linux fans.
