Invisalign...?

Hey, I know there must be a couple of dentists on here, and I have a question about braces. I'm looking to straighten my teeth, and invisalign looks pretty darn nice. Anyone have any experiences with these? I'm going to be making an app. with my dentist, but wanted to know about any background info..

Works form me. It's taking longer than a year 'cause I needed some follow up work. Cost just under $5000 for uppers and lowers.

I heard that it works mostly for people who have a minorish, give or take, teeth allignment problems. If it's like really drastic or just sifnificantly off, go with braces.

I was told the same. I wanted invisalign myself, but I was told that it would not work for me.
Oh well, these braces after nearly 3 years are finally coming off soon! *I am told*

I had partial dental coverage, so it wasn't that bad a hit. Also, it's fixed fee. If it take 3 years, 60 liners and untold side work with traditional braces, the price doesn't change.

Yeah, I have pretty straight teeth, so this will probably work for me, I will only need the uppers. I'll have to check w/ my coverage here at work to see what % is covered...i'm just not cool on the whole braces thing, and being able to take them off is killer!

Whatever you do, don't be like my friend who tightened his own braces when he moved to another city. His teeth are even more crooked.

Hi guys, I've got some experience wearing braces. Fist I wore the metal braces, I really hate it especially in the first month of wearing it coz it makes my lips so much pouty because of the extending wire over my teeth. Then after a new months I decided to replace it with ceramic brackets coz its looks a lot nicer. Its a bit invisible at first look and the rubber I'm using are also invisible. I really enjoy it coz i hate when I'm seeing people
wearing metal braces with colourful rubbers. For me it really feels filthy, and honestly I'm trying my best not to look at those braces. Now, I'm planning to replace it again with Invisalign. I'm trying to learn more about this invisible teeth straightener, the advantages of Invisalign attract me the most. Which are easy to wear and remove, you don't suffer with mouth sore and any kind of discomfort unlike in traditional braces,
you can just remove it when you visit your dentist for cleaning and you can even use it together with teeth whitening.

And now a days a lot more clinics are offering the Invisalign and its getting cheaper and cheaper, I'm already have my appointment with my dentist to remove my ceramic braces and replace it with invisalign in his clinic at Invisalign Chatswood Sydney. I don't know if he offers the most affordable, nevermind it is in installment payment mode. Let me know guys what's your experience with invisalign. Thanks
