I believe you arwe going to have to real time record it and convert to an MP3. Do you have software for that? If not, create an analog recording of it and record it back in as an audiofile through the soundcard. Quick and dirty solution, I know!

Tape it! Then record the tape output either through the mike or line level inputs. Like I said, quick and dirty, but a fast solution. As operator said, there is also software for ripping streamed audio, but I have no idea if you have such or time to DL it! Record it on a cassette if all else fails!

I was afraid that's what you meant. I haven't got any of that stuff around anymore. Well, it looks like they archive broadcasts so although the game is just starting, i can go back and try and figure out how to get it.

I would like to get it in case i decide to do a highlight DVD for him. It would be cool to use the broadcast audio in the highlight DVD.

Portis, do you have a VHS and a blank tape? If so, you can run the audio output from the 'puter into the audio in and record it as an audio only for playback later!

It depends. Sometimes you can open it up with mozilla and have it save. Otherwise you need to get something like SDP (assuming its wmv or wma).

just go search for SDP
It's free and it grabs the actual stream. Snag It is a wonderful product but it sucks for doing what is trying to be done here.
