You're right, it may not get better. But it also may not be as bad as you think it is.

Unless you're on the Titanic, that is. Then it's bad.

I don't bother with half-empty or half-full, I just pour until it's completely full...

And somebody always has it worse off than you too. I know its not one of the best of "life's motivating factors", but sometimes its all we got...I know I've felt that way sometimes.

You know, I believe most people get into "funks" in the course of life. A prolonged period of time exists when everything is negative about one's life, and its close to impossible to see any positive. It sucks. But you have to cope with it somehow...even if it is living through those kind of days where all you have is getting through another day of living through life's drudgery, mundaneness, routine, and so on and so forth. You'll get through it man. Find someone to talk to if you could...that might help. If you're like me and you prefer to deal with things on your own...try to find something...SOMETHING positive to hold on to...keep yourself busy in order to keep your mind off of whatever is ailing you, have some kind of attainable goal to motivate you and consume some of your mental energy; that might help as well.

Change
I don't feel the sun's comin out today
It's staying in, it's gonna find another way.
As I sit here in this misery, I don't
Think Ill ever see the sun from here.
And oh as I fade away,
They'll all look at me and say, and they'll say,
Hey look at him! I'll never live that way.
But that's okay
They're just afraid to change.
When you feel your life ain't worth living
You've got to stand up and
Take a look around you then a look way up to the sky.
And when your deepest thoughts are broken,
Keep on dreaming boy, cause when you stop dreamin it's time to die.
And as we all play parts of tomorrow,
Some ways will work and other ways we'll play.
But I know we all can't stay here forever,
So I want to write my words on the face of today.
And then they'll paint it
And oh as I fade away,
They'll all look at me and they'll say,
Hey look at him and where he is these days.
When life is hard, you have to change.
