It always feels good to get a box of bike parts in the mail... except when you order xt shifters for 65$ and you realize you don't like the 06 design and you can't find someone to buy them off you.

When youre down and out,
When youre on the street,
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you.
Ill take your part.
When darkness comes
And pains is all around,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

Does this mean you'll buy Pheard's pos shifters?

At least Pheard is a bit OCP, a roadie disease, as he is willing to sacrifice a part at a loss because he does not like the design.

True. I hate to admit it, but I DO admire Pheard's OCPness. Though, he gets an automatic minus eleventybillion OCP points because of the fattiness of his tires.

Glad that we are in agreeance. I think you let him off a bit light on the fat tire thing though.

Xt shifters are one from top of the line in the shimano line. Normally retailed for 200+ but jenson closed em out for like a few days at 65$

I'm not hating on anything. If you want to redeem yourself, you better post a picture of your bike in front of a white door. With the cranks horizontal. Chain on the big ring, small cog. Stem flipped. etc.

Bonus points for carbon cages, comp magnet opposite stem, labels on tires at stem, etc. And the bars better be wrapped nice or some roadies are showing up at your place and like, totally ignoring you.
