What do you collect?

What do you collect? Or what did you used to collect (even if you don't anymore)?

I currently collect refrigerator magnets that display places I've been. The rule is that I have to have actually been there and got the magnet myself. I don't take ones other people give me.

I used to collect hats. Not "caps", but real hats.

I used to collect fake snakes, either rubber ones or stuffed ones (only had 4 or 5 though).

I collect wheat pennies, but only to give to my dad because he collects coins.

How about you?

I collect wood - seriously. I have thousands of board feet of rare woods. Call it a professional interest.

I'm trying to collect bikes, but the spousal unit has imposed a strict 4 bike limit.....mean, isn't she?

Water.
I have samples from all over the world: my pond, the Mississippi, the Roman baths from Bath, England, the Trevi fountain, etc. All told I have around 30 samples.

{edit} Oh and bicycles.

Usually just myself. I tend to collect them over wounds. I have had many, but they all seem to go away. Your system might be better, as you are sort of storing them.

I thought you actually collected them and kept them in marked jars.

The unused hotel soaps and such. I think this is my 2005 collection. At the end of every year I box it all up and send it to the Pine Street Inn (shelter).
