Blood On the MUP and Other Sights.

We hag a pleasant jaunt down the cinder MUP today. We went from Green Lane to Schwenksville PA. These are the sights along the way.

Evva making friends with an African Grey

The whole path is no more than a 2% grade... Except for here. Up was murder, coming back was a blast!

Here's Evva after the grade.

Some neat cliffs. Anyone for a drop in?

My bike wants a rest. Really, it's the bike that's tired. Really

Just horseing around with the horse.

Saving the best for last. The money shot! Blood flowing from my forearm. I have no idea what happened.

Nice shots, looks like a great place to ride. Just finished some stuff around the house, like repairing sprinkler heads my dog dug up, thinking about a short ride.

Poor Eva (in that shot after the grade). What did you do to her??

Stacey, I must say you are lookin' good! How have you been feeling lately?

It was a year the first of June that I was diagnosed w/ leukemia. Probably 6 months now that I've been able to lead a somewhat normal life. Oh fer sure! Strength and endurance are taking a noticeable up turn in just a week.

Great pics Stacey! I didn't know we were neighbors- I'm from Philly, and ride out on the Perkiomen a fair bit. Speaking of intense grades- have you been on the Audubon loop? It's got a 9.5%, but with a nasty turn halfway up. Enough to draw blood, for sure...

Glad to hear you're doing OK- maybe I'll run into you on the trail sometime!

From reading all of Stacey's posts I always pictured her as much younger. You have a young soul. I think you'd be fun to hang out with. You could teach us kids a few things about life I'm sure.

I'm in Quakertown. We get to the Perky a couple times a year, never got to Audobon yet. Schwenksville has been our furtherest. I'm all up for bleedin'

You've read ALL of my posts?!?!?!? Not too shabby lookin' for fiddy, eh? I don't mind ageing, but I don't want to get old and I never want to grow up. If you ever make it to Q'town , PA I'd love to hang with you. Who knows, maybe I could learn something too.

You are such the n00b, aren't you. Haven't beat it, just have it controlled... kinda like the nicotine addiction. ODAT

Well, maybe not every one.

Who knows if I'll ever make it to PA. I'm just trying to get to Africa and back in one piece. I'll be there in 14 days and won't come back for 14 months. Then maybe we can hang out.
