I'm a civil/structural engineer. Designed buildings, bridges, marine structures, etc... in the early part of my career. Currently working for a local building department reviewing and approving plans, specifications, calculations (you name it) for building permit applications.

That actually sounds like fun. Wouldn't mind doing that every once in a while... just to break up the monotony of the office atmosphere

Yeah it beats an office job. But my body is getting too old for this. Sometimes it's nice to just.....sit.

One time I took a bit of a breather and sat down and leaned up against a pallet of product. Because of my insomnia and lack of proper sleep I had actually dozed off there. I woke up to someone saying "Is she asleep?" I considered it my break. That way I didn't get in trouble.

Kinda funny actually... you fall asleep at work from fatigue while I fall asleep from boredom

Jesus I wish I had a 9-5 job like ya'll. I work 5:00am to 5:00pm(sometimes later) as a mechanic(63B) in the Army. Sadly tho only part of my day is actually working on vehicles, the rest of the time is filled up with whatever bullsh!t top pulls out of his rear. FYI If you ever thought of joining the military, don't.

Peace,
Brian

Oh yeah, not alot of free time so I spend my nights suffering the net, youtube, VW site's and bikeforums. And when I say nights I mean all night, the Army has given me Insomnia

I'm an admin. assistant (basically I answer phones, type letters, make photocopies, set up appointments etc) so I have a ton of spare time that I spend surfing the web. Some of my favorite spots are facebook, cuteoverload.com, consumating.com and my all time favorite, youtube. Does anyone have other sites they frequent, or any good/funny videos they could share, to keep me entertained? Thnx!!

I'm in school full time right now, and I'm working on campus this summer to make some extra cash. Since nobody else answered your request for youtube videos, check this one out and let me know what you think.....I couldn't stop laughing! http://youtube.com/watch?v=2BSXmj7G5dY
