OK, this is going to be a strange day...

Just as I got into town this morning, the road was being blocked by a bunch of .....CATTLE! I mean...it IS Kansas, but never seen the road blocked by cows...IN TOWN. Weird start to the day. Can't be a good sign for things to come.

Better cows than elephants like what my friend sent me a pic of. But then again she lives in India. *shrugs*

That happened to me once (in Florida). When I was about 18, a friend and I were coming back home from Tampa about 1 or 2am. We came around a sharp curve, late night, thick fog and damn near ran straight into a herd of cows that had somehow gotten out of fence and were in middle or road.

Today is strange out on the roads. But here the problem is me. On the way to work I stopped at a "left turn yeild on green" intersection when there was no one in sight coming the other way. You can imagine how happy that made the drivers behind me. Then I was happily zooming down a four lane in the left lane and suddenly realized a car was stopped in front of me waiting to turn left. Lukily there no one in the right lane so I could do a panic lane change. Bet the driver of the stopped car had to clean up afterwards. I don't know where my head is today. My advice is to stay off of OKC streets for awile.

I was deer hunting with a bow as a teenager, and saw something brown moving around about 30 yards away. I drew the bow, took aim, then held for a clear shot. It started moving into a clearing about 25 yards or so away. I was thinking,"Oh my lord, I've found the biggest buck in the world. I'm gonna spend hours tracking this behemoth". Thank god I didn't release the arrow, turned out to be one of 30 or so cows that had escaped from a neighbors farm about 5 miles down the road . They were all just roaming around in the woods, completely lost.

Moosen? If you mean Moose, then the plural of moose is moose. And you can punch them in the face and they go away!

umm...I'd like to see someone do that . I've heard some stories of people being chased by moose during mating season. Seems they get a little weird during certain time of the year.

Thanks, I'm aware of the proper pluralization of Moose, but for the past few years I pluralize as much as I can improperly with the 'en' bit. Heard a funny comedy bit that used it, and it's stuck.

Now the punching in the face, that I was unaware of.
