What's for breakfast?

Small slice of meat pie
Yerba Mate
Apple

should have me going until I get a small break between classes at 2.

Oh shiote! I knew I forgot something!

Yerba Matel, eh? I have some of that stuff. Damn, it works better than coffee! I'm still not quite used to the taste, though. I like the 1 yerba - 1 chai ratio.

I've been adding some rooibos (sp?) or nutritive tea. Straight yerba mate reminds me of watered down whiskey and is only enjoyable to me if it's piping hot.

The nutritive tea is really great stuff. I've been feeling considerably healthier than I had prior to drinking it daily. As some anecdotal evidence, my roommate who severely dislocated her pinkie finger during a biking accident healed up within 2 months without doing rehab exercises, only going about her day, drinking tea, and taking fish oil supplements. Her doctor was expecting a healing time of +8 months.

Not saying the voodoo is what did it, but it makes me happy to think she helped herself along to that point.

2 slices of cantaloupe
1 chunk of homemade protein/meal-replacement bar. (got carrot and zucchini in it, plus quinoa flour, wheat germ, soy protein powder, oat bran, flaxseed, and a buncha stuff I don't remember. I know it's got a truckload of protein and fiber, but very little carbohydrate.)
