The Further A-MAIZE-ing Illinois Adventures of Yellow/Purple Ball (A Corny Tale)

Well, Purple/Yellow Ball wanted a little bit more Midwestern Fall flavor before the big trip out west to SLC later this week. With brisk Autumn temperatures hovering around 90 degrees , we headed off to a local Corn Maze.

Which way to the maze, please?

Ahh, here it is!

Here’s a bird’s eye view… the flags are fellow Maize Maze Seekers

This friendly fellow explains that we have a challenge to find 9 pieces of the puzzle

What does Yellow/Purple ball want to be for Halloween? Duh! Corn!

Alright! We’re rockin’ now! The 6th of 9 pieces of the puzzle is found! Only three more to go!

We’ve been in here a while. It’s time for a snack

Hey! We’ve filled in all 9 spots! Now we have to find our way out

Well done, Yellow/Purple Ball! Yet another rite of passage completed on your journey around Foo Nation!

I love that place!

Did you end up heading over to the store for some delicious apple cider and an apple donut?

We love the scary forest. Your kids might be a little young for it. Love to laugh at that!

My daughter wants to go this year and she's 11. Never too old for Kuipers.

We finally made it there today. That place rocks. We were there for about 6 hours.

The Amazing Maize Maze was mazerific. My wife and I did the whole thing while my son slept. Pretty cold compared to the "everyone go to the hospital for dehydration Chicago Marathon" weekend you went.

Let's see....apple cider? Check. Pumpkins? Check. Carmel apples? Check. Apple doughnuts? Check.

We're good.
