What do you plan to do with your tax rebate?

Starting in May, the Internal Revenue Service will be delivering tax rebate checks for qualified individuals. Do you have any plans for yours? Saving it? Spending spree as Best Buy?

It will help finance that years underpayment. Much prefer to spend it on bike stuff. I did compensate myself for being the tax preparer by buying a new helmet.

I'm tempted to save it all. Only thing is, that kind of defeats the purpose of this tax rebate. So in the interest of being a patriot, I may have to spend some time on NewEgg . If I invested the money in my mutual funds, wouldn't that help the economy as well?

First, I'll believe it when I see it...

Second, it's going towards studio lights and/or lenses. Investing in my work!

I will stare in shock at the check, pondering the folly of pushing the federal deficit another $114 billion in to the red, then put in the bank.

I think we spent ours--or was it the regular tax refund? Anyhow, two new bikes (Pilot and Specialized Allez Elite); and probably new struts for my car in a week or two.

I am not a hard core conservative, but I will stare in shock at the check, pondering the folly of pushing the federal deficit another $114 billion in to the red, put $300 in savings, $200 as an extra payment towards my student loans, and $100 towards a B&M IQ Fly generator light. It's an LED model and way brighter than what I currently have. My bike is my car and so I do not consider brighter lights to be a frivolous purchase.
