That's a really nice squareback! Unfortunately, those are a rare sight these days - I can't even remember the last time I saw one.

2010 Nissan 370Z

Sport/Touring packages, Pearl White with Black leather. I bought it about a month ago. So far it has window tint all around and Stillen catback exhaust.

2009 Yamaha FJR1300

Not a sports car, but faster than most of them (in a straight line anyway). 150HP/100TQ at the rear wheel, 640 pounds full of fuel. I'm selling it to buy a 2011 Triumph Speed Triple when that bike is released for sale in the US, though.

Heres my car, 2002 Mustang GT. Pic was taken after i detailed it a couple months ago. Tried to get the amount of shine in the door panel. Not the best car for transporting my bike but i love my car. Itching for a 2011 GT with the new 5.0.

Air cooled were great but the newer motors are far more powerful, cleaner and more reliable (how many times have you had to refresh the heads on a LC motor?)
The GT1 blocks in particular, once getting liquid cooling are amazing.
I do agree that the sound, look and history in the air cooled motors is great. I would LOVE to own a 98 C2S as a daily driver. Yummy.

The output of the mods were modest in terms of horsepower increase but the overall effect cause almost a full second off the 0-60 time. I love my subie but in terms of handling the bimmer eats it up effortlessly. The subie is faster though. The thing I've always found with the WRX is that it must be driven "mad" to get the most out of it. The 2002 models really were not that "poised" of a car. The fastest way to get around corners seems to be to go in too fast, point the front where you want to go and then goose the throttle to kick the rear around while letting the AWD pull it out in the direction you want to go. The bimmer just grips and grips and grips in corners and I can carry speeds through a corner that my WRX can't even dream of. Of course the Bimmer is useless in the winter and never leaves the garage while the WRX takes me through snowy roads no matter how deep the snow is.
I know what you mean. My BMW 328i had the same (modest) power from idle to redline. My WRX doesn't get that mash you in the seat power up until 5,000 RPM. My next car will probably be another 3 series BMW.

It's no wonder that everyone's cycling tales on here sound like "I was riding along really easy; about 27 mph." A lot of exaggeration skills on display here with some of these "sports cars."

After reading your post I went back and looked at a few pages of this thread. I see a VW Golf wagon, a Ford Focus, Acura Integra, a Honda Civic, a Mazda 6, a 3 Series (not ///M), a Toyota truck, various Mitsubishi sedans, and a smattering of other vehicles that I'm not sure how they qualify for anything even resembling a sports car.

Then again, I posted a motorcycle, but at least it accompanied an actual sports car!

Saw this on another forum I visit (not mine). Not exactly a sports car... but the colors should be recognizable to any Porsche fan.
