Oooh, pretty:

Oops, sorry... it's a bicycle, not a car. But it is the world's fastest bicycle:

^^ I drive for one hour at our national speed limit of 110kph to get to work. It's a straight run down the highway and I could do it faster in that thing

Five more miles an hour and a flux capacitor and it can travel through time.

That would have gone nicely with my '61 crewcab pickup... but I doubt it would have gone anywhere towing that trailer. Stock engine was a 40-horse 1300.

My 62 ended up with a 1600 engine and the stock tranny. It topped out at about 62, but it would climb the hills of San Diego like a champ.

My '61 also had a 1600 single-port engine and stock tranny. It cruised at 65mph (L.A. area freeways) until it blew up. Three times. I then had the R&P changed to the tallest available (3.88:1 ? I forget), and the later reduction boxes. At least then the engine had a chance of survival.

I don't know if this is considered beautiful but to put a tiny Fiat 500 body on a big Lambo V12 or a Porsche v6.

The seventh generation, the all new (as in only the in cabin air filter and rear latch for the roof panel are the only carry over parts) 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

Well at least the Porsche engine fits.... mostly, but with a short wheelbase and that much power it would be down right scary and dangerous cornering that thing. Best way to feel like a sardine in a can if it goes wrong!
