Nice Benz, that gear knob doesn't belong there either.

^^ I see the similarities with the Vega but the Torana was aussie built and designed. Some of the idea's may have been borrowed from GM.

I thought Vega immediately, but then looked again.

Was the Vega ever a sedan?

These cars were never shy about there name here.
This SLR5000 is actually quite toned down with the paint work.

To this day, the 914 is the only Porsche I have ever been in. I had some friends with one when I was a kid.

The 914 is my least desired Porsche. Not that I can't appreciate it. Did they make them in any other color? I met a guy that was like 6 foot 3 that drove one, it was borderline comical.

We have a customer by the name of John Talley who was a tight end for the Cleveland Browns. He drove up one day in a Mini Cooper. I never would have believed a man that big could fit in a car that small. When I commented about it , he took me outside and showed me how much room there was. When I sat in the driver's seat, it was so far back I couldn't reach the pedals. Surprisingly roomy.

Much love for the 914-6 ... these cars regularly kicked A$$ on short track 911s in the 1970's

The smoke almost hides those hideous wheels. ALMOST. Hit the gas before the next pic please.
