Always liked the ageless lines of a Peugeot like these. Owned a '69 Peugeot 504 Berline Diesel that had been mostly garaged for a couple decades. Actually a very solidly built car. It just didn't have that intimidating quality that enabled it the right-of-way over Jaguars and BMWs like my Gremlin had. For one thing it couldn't keep up with them.

Funny, my friend had an XJ and you used to pass it every day when you went past his driveway.

My all-time favourite is the Lamborghini Espada, of which I can't post a picture yet.

I tend to like Bertone designs. the Fiat x19 although a tiny car is very practical. It is comfortable and has 2 trunks! I just cant get over how small a scale it is here in USA . I had a fiat spider and daily drove when younger and I cant believe I did that!!

They had a photo of an Espada up in the office at the dealer while I was signing papers for the Odyssey. I couldn't take my eyes off of it.
2016 Odyssey... very practical, not hideous, but better looking than a 2015 Mazda CX-9.

I expect Roger Moore to emerge from that Vantage, but surely he used a silver DB5.

I think I just like the seventies because the designs were bald, both the angular and the ones with flowing lines. I like small cars but a friend got a 124 spider and I do fit in but that's about it. Also, since I'm over 40 I appreciate bigger cars and especially 4 door cars more. Besides that size is nice in itself, long, wide and low is very good looking when it's done right. The Espada for example, it might look strangely proportioned on pictures, but because it's so low IRL it's almost an extremely sleak station wagon. I guess I don't like mid size cars that want to look big, or want to look small, or cars that can't decide between beeing low or standing tall.

1977 Greenwood Corvette ‘SuperVette’. This tube frame race car was built by John Greenwood and John Riley for the IMSA Camel GT Challenge series and is 1 of only 2 chassis like this ever constructed.

@bigbenaugust that style Aston was in 'The Living Daylights' so alas belonged to the rubbish Bond, Timothy Dalton. That actual Aston I posted above is owned by actress Joanna Lumley's husband.

A couple of beauties spotted in the sunshine this weekend.
Mark 1 Jaguar

Enzo Ferrari called it the most beautiful car ever made, and he knew a thing or two about cars. It still looks great after all these years. E-type Jaguar.

We don't see many Thunderbirds here in the UK, but here's a lovely example.

But my personal favourite is this Jenson Interceptor, such a cool looking car.

Yeah? I love moonlit walks on the beach, quiet nights at home and having a really good criminal defense attorney on retainer.

And we know which one of those you really need....

I drove an E Type years ago when we helped a customer move his used car lot. He specialized in exotic cars and the E Type was passed over because the 6 cylinder automatic wasn't running very well, but I thought it was a cool car to drive anyway,

My dad had a coupe in that same color when I was a kid. I think he paid something like $7,000 for it. I used to ride in the back (behind the seats). What a car that was...

The coupe is my favorite, especially the earlier series 1 with the flush headlights. When they changed the headlights and added the bubble topped 2+2, they ruined the original design.

I don't know, it's just an image I got from the web. Your friend has a lot of company, old Jaguars don't run for long.

My first car was a 1955 Jaguar XK140MC Roadster. It didn't run and was in poor shape when I bought it for $50, but I got it going and drove it in high school. Some of my best memories center around that car - and the pretty blonde that sat beside me.

Nice. I am still partial to this stretch Jag I saw at the Hockenheim Race Track. It was meant for the living and living well, as it was equipped with a water bed.
