First thing I saw when I got up this morning. Sad news. I thought something was strange when they put him in the hospital a month or so ago for pneumonia.

RIP Bernie.

That's pretty sad news. I almost thought it was yet another demise report from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mac...but it wasn't.

RIP Bernie.

Too bad anyway.

Come on America...

Geez, a what a waste. I'm not a TV fan, but his show was on the mark, and he was a positive presence...

Only 50 years old. Dammit...this sucks.

R.I.P. Mr. Mac. Thanks for the laughter.

He had some very unique and effective comedic twists and layouts. It was brilliant.

RIP Bernie.

Hmm, does this tie into the sympathy/empathy thread? Everyone is so sad now but most didn't care before.

Either way he was funny and I like comedy so that's one less person to watch on movies.

Personally thought his TV show was a waste of his talents -- he was too good, too funny, for TV. Watch Ocean's Eleven, then watch Life (w/ Martin & Eddie Murphy) -- you'll see his versatility.

I salute you on your journey, Bernie -- you go to a better place.

I feel for his family and I think its a shame for someone so young to be taken away BUT, I truly didnt like his comedy much, and dont even ask my opinion of his acting!
