Talk about your favorite childhood toys

Mine were Capsela, Legos, and the 200-in-1 electronic kit from Radio Shack...

Legos were by far my favourite. I also had Capsella, a giant toybox full of Lincoln Logs, and I'd fill entire rooms with Domino Rally setups.

legos, especially the technic sets. and from back in the day before they had all the fancy specialized pieces. Also GI Joes and Star Wars action figures and accessories (we had an AT-AT, a walker, the ewok village, and a couple other small vehicles).

I almost forgot R/C cars. I had tons of those! All Radio Shack, of course... I had the yellow one with the big wheels, and the big blue pickup truck that was modeled after, I think, a toyota...

Did you know if you put two sets of fins on them you can shoulder launch them from a piece of PVC pipe into the hayloft of the barn?

Oh yeah, the rockets! I used to build tons of those - even an SR-71 model.. that was very cool - I adapted it to take D-size motors in the wing tubes instead of a single A/B/C in the tail.. I was young and didn't know much about how a thrust difference between the two motors would cause it to spin out of control

Try adding mercury fulminate to that plastic cone and then launching it using a D engine.
