All you skiers/snowboarders

and especially Mahkr and artifice.. Screw powder mag or ski, you guys need to get The Ski Journal. The pictures are, to draw a parallel, National Geographic coffee table book quality.

Ok, but does it have more pages of content than ads?

My housemate gets "Skiing" magazine. Aside from the fact that I've only know him to go XC skiing twice whereas it's an alpine magazine, it's so chock full of ads I can only hope he's getting it for free. Most of the articles also read like ads.

Hmmm...now that I think about it, it's kind of like Guns and Ammo.

Yeah most of the mags these days suffer from that problem. Ski Journal has very few ad's compared to the regular ski publications.

Cool site!

I sure hope this year is as epic as last year. Our hill opens up on Wed. We got pounded with over three feet of powder from this last storm, and it looks like another foot or two are expected in a few days.

Nice!
It was 60 degrees here. I think Skiing is a good few weeks of up here in the northeast. Can you browse the full articles online?

Speaking of A-basin, those who can take advantage of this deal should: https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...d.php?t=139409

I think they opened within the last week- basically only 1 run. A couple of my friends are playing hookie from work tomorrow and are going to hit the "1" run that is open on all the resorts on our CO pass.

Hell id hit it too, if I had a quality mountain 45 minutes away.

The first time I tried to get to loveland, I missed the snow covered entrance completely and also given how unassuming the place is its easy to. I drove up and over loveland pass on this rickety breakdown prone old nissan sedan with a semi behind me coming up like the scary killer trucks that you see in horror flicks. I didnt realize my mistake till I got to A-basin ..doh!

Loveland rules in my opinion, but beware, you lose your lift ticket, thats is, no replacement. I found out the hard way.

Skinnyone.

thanks for the plug. If skiing isnt your thing, we also have a snowboarding publications called frequency TSJ. See below for images from our special HardBound photobook. Both mags are coffee table format and dig a bit deeper into the cutlure than the typical throw away mag.

www.frqncy.com

Less ads more rad...

Ah I didnt know you guys did frequency too. I remember seeing one in my friends place last year and it was pretty cool.

Keep up the great work! That greenland feature in the latest TSJ is still making me drool.

Thanks for posting.

There are two I've come across, published in Europe, that I thought were head and shoulders above the rest (Not Nat. Geo. standard though). A German mag. called Skimagazin and a Norwegian one called Friflyt.

I don't speak/read either German or Norwegian but interweb translations help me muddle through.

https://www.friflyt.no/
https://www.skimagazin.de/
