my ex-gf swore by these. I had issues with them making my eyes tear up a lot and not noticing much of a positive effect. I experimented with salt amount and water temperature then gave up. I should probably give it another shot though.

Put it this way. I am no longer on nasal sprays for my allergies. One less medicine in my body.

A neti pot saved my marriage and cured my bonitis. Cleared my nasal passages, as well.

Interesting... I bought one in the spring, and never got around to trying it. I'm a bit creeped out, actually. Tonight I was thinking that I should break down and give it a try... and I discovered this thread.

The one video I've seen online (I think it was a demo on a neti pot brand's site) made me crack up, what with the woman drooling water out of her nose with a totally straight poker face.

I've got a friend who uses one, and she says it's great. I really should try one. It seems much easier than trying to snort water from the sink (seriously; I've tried almost everything over the years).

I do a somewhat "ghetto" version of it and it works so I would imagine the actual thing would be better. Go for it.

The Neti pot is cool but it's kind of small. So I usually just use the toilet.

Actually she is dry and happens to like the taste of nasal cavity filler such as mucous. Must be salty.

I use a squirt bottle, but same thing. Works great. Do it in the shower for ease of drainage.

Used to use one, worked pretty well.

Just don't let anyone see you using it.

For those of you in the dark, here is a kitchen example of a neti pot.

I do not think I want to understand this thread.

I do not think I want to google neti pots to see if that will help me understand this thread.
