Awesome. FWIW I'm glad this was resurrected, our regional convenience store chain Casey's pizza does the same to me. Their breakfast pizza is fine but the regular pizza I stopped eating because of that.

Did not know PH still existed. Don't think I've seen any round here. Well did a quick search and there are four within 5mi. I guess they don't have much of a storefront or signage.

Most of the Pizza Huts around here are carry out/delivery only.
One, and I mean one Pizza Hut restaurant around here still has booths and chairs and you can have your order brought to you by a waiter. It's a shell of what it once was, though.
All the other Pizza Hut restaurants got turned into Taquerias a couple of decades ago.
I actually miss all the pizza restaurants from back in the day, even if they were franchises. Shakeys, Mr. Ghatti's, Pizza Inn, Spankey's, Square Pan, Poppa Rollo's, Godfather's, Maui Brothers . . . having a pitcher of beer with a large pie was always a good time. Especially the restaurants that had a big projector TV to watch a ball game on. But they all got Dominoed.
Speaking of pizza joints, I've noticed that Italian restaurants around here have been in serious decline over the last couple decades, too. Taquerias and Tex-Mex, while always present here, have nearly overrun all the local Italian joints.

Pizza Hut has devolved into a copy of Little Cesaers, and both have pretty bland pizza. The closest one to me is about 3 miles away, but in those three miles are a Round Table Pizza store ($10 all-you-can-eat lunch buffet) and two independent pizza/Italian shops that blow Pizza Hut and Little Ceasers out of the water. Dominos ain't bad if you have a crowd over for an event and want to feed everyone; way better pizza than Pizza Hut but not as good as the "indi's" near me.

it’s not hard to make your own and with quality and much better ingredients than a chain pizza establishment.

And someone from AZ saying the best (at least neapolita style) Pizza can be found in Phoenix.
Bianco was one of the very first of this style and use of garden/farm fresh and Italian sourced ingredients in the USA (1987/94) which helped lead to these accolades. Certainly by now the concept has spread throughout the US with many likely just as good or even possibly better. It's personal at that level.

I regularly make my own pizza and dough and often use local farm mozz and veggies from my garden when in season. Only very rarely a few times a years do I buy one.
