The transition to single life...

...is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. The fact that I've been in Florida for 16 days now doesn't hurt either.

Good luck with that, I was alone for a week and I almost lost my mind!

Glad you're doing okay so far. Distractions always help to keep you from dwelling on things.

Good for you. There are certainly advantages to it. I think my perfect situation would be to share a duplex with a woman. How come no one else has thought of this?

That's really good! It took me a LONG time to recover from a long relationship, so it's good to not have to go through that.

Go buy an R/C copter to help you pass the time.

Glad to hear that it is not as bad as you feared.

Actually, it's coincidental. Sorry, I'm just doing what I can to make the world a better place... and I've failed again.

I've been single for about three months now, and unfortunately, all of my down-the-street-desperate-housewives are fat, old, and need a shave.

Is it bad that I've started to dream of cuddling?

You're in the 2 month period of not excruciatingly painful heat FL gets every year. Wait until april or may when you melt in to a puddle just walking from your front door to your car.

Louisiana is almost as hot as Florida; not quite though.
