I think the problem is your location. Get out of Hicksville.

I get this cheap-ass 'organic' bagged green tea from PRC. Also, use loose gunpowder tea in a teaball. No real preference. Also, experimenting w/ steeping for less and then reusing leaves which I have never really done before (vs my Scottish-ancestry wife who gets like 6 uses out of a teabag).

I drink whatever is handy, almost always bagged. I like Oolong, black or green... whatever. Or even straight herbals.

I especially like Good Earth Original Tea/Herbal blend... BUt I am almost out, and I forget where I bought my last box, and haven't found it recently when I have looked.

I visited the only working tea plantation in the US when I went to South Carolina last year. It was an interesting tour. I bought some of their tea, but I just realized that I haven't had any of it yet.

ooloong....it actually makes a better tea on the second steeping. I've steeped as many as 3X with the same leaves.

I've never steeped more than 2x...will have to give a third time a shot. i've found that the darjeeling I drink is every bit as good with the 2nd steeping.

I drink different teas in different moods. Kuding (particularly when I'm not feeling well), Earl Grey, Darjeeling, just regular ol' Tetley's, and Jiao Gu Lan are the most commonly consumed teas in our house, though we have dozens of kinds. Earl Grey and Tetley's are bagged, the others are loose (Kuding is rolled like sticks). We have a mix of loose and bagged and choose by taste rather than format.

Twining Earl Gray loose. I actually prefer Lady Gray but can't find it loose.
