Welcome to the club. I am in my late 40's and have been shaving my head for about six years now.

Looks like mother nature did most of the heavy lifting for you already.

My twin's hairline is receding and I was just giving him hell about it (yet again). Sorry I had some extra grief to pass out before I hit the hay.

I think the hair was holding your mouth closed. I want to shave my head, but my wife won't let me.

Now see, I have the wrong shaped head to try something like that (think Charlie Brown). But the way mother nature is going at it, I may soon not have a choice anyway.

Yes. Some people just aren't blessed with a shave-friendly head shape. I'm one of 'em.

Shelato, it looks like you have a great head shape for shaving. Bravo!

Wow, looks great!! You look good either way, though.

My shaved head looks just as good as yours!

I was going to start shaving daily since I was formerly losing a lot of hair, but I think I've actually managed to beat hair loss. I narrowed it down to thyroid problems, and now both my brother and I are on supplements. I'm growing it out. Got about 3" so far. Probably hasn't been this long since I was 17.

Btw - Head looks good.

My body is too big for my head. Not balanced enough so I keep the hair.

Well, it went something like this:

Trim time (with #1 guard on clippers) was long overdue - hair was about an inch long.

Went to it with the #1; thought I'd like it a LITTLE shorter to celebrate warmer weather, so i took guard off.

Realized it was now stupid short, so I figured I should try this once in my life. Felt very strange, yet somehow liberating, to run a razor over my head.

My head gets cold very easily now. I'm assuming I'll get used to this.

Feels wonderful that first time doesn't it? It's so liberating.

I started shaving about 1 to 1 1/2 years ago.

Be sure to wear a hat, cap, skull cap or use sunscreen when you go out in the sun. Failure to do this results in an interesting grid-like pattern sunburn that matches the vents in your bike helmet.
