Me too. I miss him dearly. He was my all time favorite riding partner, someone I could laugh and cry with, someone I could hug when things got too overwhelming. We should all have people like that in our lives, so if you do, please tell them today how much they mean to you. There is no guarantee of a tomorrow.

Huh.

Goin' old school, eh?

I turned around
I found my daddy gone
He was the one
Made me what I am today
It's up to me now
My daddy has gone away...

That album was great, btw. So sad to see Navarro on reality tv, of all the freakin' things.

I used to walk around w/ that cassette in my boom box. Man, was I lame.

On the contrary, that's a good tape to load in the BB
yeah, bizarre to see what people turn into down the road. this from the guy who was so shy he'd wear sunglasses all the time.

I was also a little bummed that Eric A. recently jumped the shark and finally joined the reunion....I guess they eventually wave enough money in front of you and you can't say no. So much for them quitting while the quitting was good.

*sigh* What a drag, it is gettin' old.

I knew I was old when I went to a Superchunk gig at First Avenue and it was all round bellied dudes (myself included) w/ receding hairlines. It was tragic, really. Grasping at wisps of youth. *grin*

R&R reunions ain't pretty

although I must say X still put on a pretty good show last summer. the metronome was set back a few dozen bpm compared to 1980, but it was fun nevertheless...
