I cant wait to start walking again and more importantly ride the bike again.. Stupid knee

Saw the doc yesterday and he said its looking good. I can put some weight on the leg now with crutches still and after 2 weeks I can ditch them. Probably be 3 weeks from now to get Range of motion enough to pedal. The atrophy is pretty spectacular.

actually the timing isn't so bad- you'll be coming back as the weather gets nice. Just don't get impatient and try to come back too hard too soon - let it heal up right and you'll have the best chance for being 100% for the start of next year

go atrophy!

Glad to hear you're healing up. Sounds like not too much longer and you'll be on the bike with girl in tow.

Indeed. Just wait until you get back on the bike, and the full scope of your atrophy presents itself.

On the plus side, imagine the heightened levels of self loathing you will achieve once you are back on the bike and you truly realize how much you have lost.

Self flagellation is refreshing. Especially with a lopsided tiny leg that looks like a Slim Jim.
