Welcome to the 1st Church of Foo.

Welcome brothers and sisters... and whatever that thing is in the corner. We are here today to celebrate what is in our hearts, to celebrate what flows through us like the shrunken ship from the movie InnerSpace. We have all felt it, brothers and sisters. We have all felt the power and the love of Foo. We have felt it in our very marrow, we have felt it and maybe for a time, we just thought it was a little gas from the pizza we ate, but NO! it is not gas. Foo has leaped up and slapped us in the face saying, "I AM HERE!" We may have struggled against Foo, we may have ignored Foo, we may even have put Foo on our ignore threads list.

But then, something happened, something changed in each and every one of us, brothers and sisters. We were drawn in. We saw that Foo was better than we could have imagined. We recognized that Foo wasn't just a place for the dregs of BF society, but it was a place for all men and women. Foo opened its doors to us all, we just had to walk through the threshold. We had to take that leap of faith.

Brothers and sisters, I say to you, do not look at Foo as though it where a gift, look at Foo as a child looks upon it's first Voltron Action figure, you know, the metal one that came apart into the five separate tigers and had the cockpits which would hold the action figure people. Look upon Foo with hands held high and a sense of Foo being there for you.

And so we have gathered together in this disturbing and miraculous place to sing our praises to Foo. Sing with me, brothers and sisters, while the Foo Choir plays this mornings bicycle hymns.

(our choir is still a work in progress)

The Church of Foo needs a cross.

(Disclaimer: I only want the cross so that I can invert it and draw it on my forehead.)

Sunday Afternoons. The Sturmey-Archists meet Friday nights since they never have anything better to do.

Shimanists are frauds.

Suntour died for your sins. Suntour has risen again. Suntour presents the only path to happiness and love. All other spinter groups are fronts for Chysler.

Trust only the gospels of Peter's son, Grant.

Is the dress code full Team issue kit, or will baggy mtb shorts and sandals suffice?

And for some reason, I get the feeling that y'all are posting pix, but I ain't seeing them.

This is the Church of Foo, not Road Cycling. There's no dress code in here. Come as you are...pants are optional.
