Jon did that the other day. Totally incoherent.

I had someone call me at 3 in the morning once and then ask "Who are you?" in a very demanding voice. I responded with something like, "Shut the **** up, you stupid *****."

I once answered my phone and this is what ensued:
Woman- "John? (random guys name, cause i don't remember the one she said)"
Me- "no, you've got the wrong number"
Woman- "no, you've got my husbands phone"
Me- "no, i've got MY phone, you called the wrong number"
Woman- "no. why do you have my husbands phone??!?!!"

I then decided to hang up. never got another call... and i can only assume she called him back and actually got in contact with him. I always wondered what their next conversation went like. When i looked up the area code, it was from CA, clear across the country.

Dont' you hate it when people call YOU and ask you who you are? I usually reply "The person you called. Who are you?"

My area code is 717. I receive a couple calls just about every month for a Chinese restaurant in New York City (area code 718). Their number is the same as my cell phone otherwise, but I wonder how this happens so frequently. Now, when my phone rings, and I see the caller is from area code 718, I know exactly what is going to happen.

I would totally pretend to work at the Chinese restaurant. That would be hilarious!

We had a person call us and ask for Marilyn at 4:30 in the morning. My roommate told the caller that there was not a Marilyn that lived at our number and that we did not know any Marilyns. A minute later, the same person called back asking for Marilyn. Again, we said that Marilyn did not live here and to stop calling. When he called back the third time, we let the voicemail pick up and guess what? He left a voicemail stating that he knew Marilyn was there and asking to speak with her. Another minute later, the person calls again asking for Marilyn. This time, we ask the guy what number he is calling but he isn't even able to really tell us the number he is dialing and hangs up.

After a solid 15 minutes of this, we called the number back and as it turns out, the call was coming from a hospital. Apparently, one of their patients was making all of these calls. When we were speaking with him, we were a little annoyed at the whole thing but after we realized that it was probably someone who was on some good meds or suffering from a mental problem, our attitude changed. What a strange way to start a day!

Once in a blue moon I get calls from people thinking they dialed 911. Last part of phone number is 0991.

wolfpack calls me every other night with same "joke".

(ring)

Airwick - "Hello?"

wolfpack, crazy woman's voice - "I know what you did last summer."

The first few times I laughed,.....

then it was just annoying.

Now it's getting rather scary.

You had that happen, too? Only in my instance, the lady must've been in the bag, because she kept calling.

wolfpack's "humor" on display again this morning with another phonecall....

Important to note I added caller id because of wolfpack.

phone rings, I see it is wolfpack.

Airwick - "Good Morning."

wolfpack - "Who is this?"

Airwick - "very funny. ha ha"

wolfpack - "I'm calling about your Corvette for sale."
